Technology
- We provide the initial set up service
- We configure your network and any printers
- Configure your existing computer system(s) to access the internet.
- Configure your existing computer system to send/receive e-mail.
We also provide
- A Cisco Firewall for all users on our network
- Email spam filters and anti virus on all our services (servers only)
- Wireless access connection to the internet is available.
Business Support Services
- Reception Service – Full reception service in a welcoming environment. Open from 9am to 5pm weekdays
- Telephone answering service – telephone calls can be diverted to reception on occasions when you are out of the office or engaged on another call. Calls will be answered in your company name and messages taken on your behalf.
- Postal Service – Outgoing postal service. Your mail can be franked and your company logo printed on your mail. Parcels can be received on your behalf.
- Faxing Service – Incoming fax service – Faxes can be sent to service – Fax machine in reception for use 9am to 5pm weekdays (see consumable list for charges).
- Advertising – Advertise Free of Charge on the plasma screen in reception. Require a power point presentation about your company and it can be added to our display. It can also be added to the Westthorpe website with a link to your website.
- Broadband – High speed broadband internet connection with secure switches and firewall
- Recycling – Office paper, cardboard, cans and plastic bottles and cups.
- Networking – regular networking events
- Higher Education – Learning Centre facilities available to company employees
- Free Business Advice & Support - A business advisor from Business Link East Midlands visits the centre once a fortnight. Please download the documents below for further information about Business Link East Midlands.

Offers independent, impartial and free advice to businesses suffering financial problems. The website offers useful information on a range of business rescue and insolvency issues.
